Mac Pro's that are 2007 are still very capable machines it seems a shame that people are lead to believe their machine to be obsolete when they are far from obsolete. That lops off all Macs (well, Mac Pros) that are earlier than early 2008. We did this for testing purposes and although we haven't been in Logic X all that much it 'seems' to be working ok under 10.7.5. Our main studio Mac here at the studio is running Logic 9 on 10.6.8 but we have a test Mac Pro that has 10.7.5 and 10.8.4 boot drives because we cannot just move to a new OS or app version in a pro studio.
